When: Friday Afternoon – Sunday Afternoon
Where: Wachau/Krems/Lower Austria
Description:
„Wachau“ is one of Austrias most famous wine regions, with its lovely hills on both sides of the beautiful Danube river. The wines produced there are sold to many countries all over the world and also won a remarkable amount of international prices within recent years. But not only is it famous for wine, also several old castels and historical monuments can be found there. Also the „Venus von Willendorf“ Austrias oldest (25.000 years) and most famous stone sculpture was discovered there.
On this trip we’ll be getting a best-of overview of everything the Wachau has to offer. Our programme includes some wine tasting, a bycicle tour along the Danube, a boat ride, traditional Austrian food, a stunning castle ruin and an interactive very cool wine museum as well as an evening in an Austrian „Beer-Pub“ and dinner at a so called „Heuriger“ restaurant.
